Payment of accounts

Our terms for payment of accounts and how to receive statements online

For existing customers we have three methods of payment for all services, products and solutions supplied:

  • Direct Debit
  • Cash (including cheques)
  • Electronic banking

For new customers, effective 1 January 2017, a direct debit is required to be set up with LIC and LIC Automation.

Payment terms

The total account balance is payable in full on the 20th of the following month, unless prior arrangements have been made for a payment instalment option. The payment instalment options are:

  • Artificial Breeding products Premier Sires, Alpha semen, Alpha inseminations and all Heat Detectors: Three equal monthly instalments.
  • New GeneMark Whole Herd customers: 12 months interest free; 24 months interest free, or; 36 months (24 months interest free plus 12 months interest-bearing) on the cost of DNA profiling.These payment terms exclude TSU, A2, and BVD testing.
  • Protrack: 12 months interest free or 5 years interest-bearing. All Protrack-financed purchases aresubject to a 20% deposit.

Interest rates apply to instalment options, and rates will be reviewed on a regular basis.

LIC lending criteria apply.

From March 2017 invoicing onwards, a charge of $1.95 per month will be added for those customers who elect to continue to receive paper invoices.

Overdue accounts

A interest charge will be imposed on any outstanding balance where the payment obligations have not been met. Interest rates will be reviewed on a regular basis.

Additional charges

Certain locations or timing of services, or non-dairy herds may incur additional charges.

All prices are exclusive of GST.

If you would like to receive your invoices and statements by email, let us know by emailing debtors@lic.co.nz – you’ll save $1.95 a month and receive them more promptly.

Once you do this, you’ll also be able to view your statements/invoices online by registering with us. All you will need is your Customer Number and email address.
