‘To The Core’ is designed to give shareholders of LIC, Farmlands and Silver Fern Farms an opportunity to learn more about governance in co-operatives and develop skills needed to operate at board level.

The three-day course has an outstanding line up of top speakers and covers a wide range of topics.
What you can expect over the programme:
- Real-world wisdom: This isn't textbook stuff. It’s a chance to hear from people leading our industry through its biggest challenges.
- The tools to step up: Whether it’s a local school board, a catchment group, or a national co-op, you’ll gain the confidence to take your seat at the table and make an impact.
- Connections that count: Build a solid network of mates and mentors from across the country who share your passion for the land and the industry.
- A look at the big picture: Gain a better understanding of how your co-ops operate behind the scenes to support your business and the wider rural sector.
This is a great opportunity for LIC shareholders who are involved in governance at a local level (school and community boards etc) and are interested in becoming a member of our Shareholder Reference Group or Board of Directors in the future.
