LIC’s most popular beef product, Short Gestation Length Hereford bulls, will sire easily-identifiable calves without compromising days in milk or fertility in your herd.

LIC’s SGL Hereford sires produce distinctive white-faced calves that are easy to identify and highly sought after at saleyards. A significant proportion of SGL Hereford sires are homozygous polled. These genetics are sourced from Shrimpton’s Hill Herefords, one of Australasia’s leading SGL Hereford studs, known for breeding animals well suited to dairy-beef systems. Available in both liquid or frozen semen straws.
