LIC’s Charolais sires provide strong colour-marking for dairy-beef calves and are recognised for excellent progeny performance. Demand for Charolais has grown, with the breed seeing the largest increase in beef straws sales over the past five years. LIC selects Charolais sires for calving ease, moderate gestation lengths, strong growth and the ability to produce heavy carcass weights.
