LIC’s Board Chair Corrigan Sowman, Appointed Director Candace Kinser and Chief Financial Officer Brent Mealings marked the occasion by ringing the bell to signal markets opening at the NZX.

As a farmer-owned co-operative, LIC’s profit is returned to its farmer shareholders in dividends, or reinvested for new solutions, research, and development.

LIC shareholders derive an income from dairy cows in New Zealand, supply a New Zealand milk processor and buy a minimum amount of qualifying products and services from LIC in any one year.

A key moment in LIC’s history on the NZX was the Share Simplification change where LIC moved from having two classes of shares to a single class of Ordinary Shares.
