The Competition
1. This competition (the Competition) is run by Livestock Improvement Corporation Limited (LIC). LIC can be contacted in relation to this Competition by emailing: [email protected]
2. The Competition will be available from 21 May 2026 until 5pm, 5 June 2026 (the Competition Period). LIC reserves the right to extend the Competition Period at its discretion.
Prizes
3. To enter, you must register for a one-on-one session held at the LIC tent during the National Fieldays. Sessions run morning and afternoon during the first two days of the Fieldays (10-11 June 2026).
4. Each one-on-one session booked in accordance with clause 3 above, will automatically receive one entry into the prize draw. There is a limit of one entry per session per eligible participant code.
5. Winners will be drawn at random on June 5th at 5pm.
6. LIC will notify the winner within 2 working days of the draw by email.
Eligibility
7.Entry is open to individuals who are:
a. aged 18 years or older;
b. not employees (or member of an employee’s family) LIC or their subsidiaries;
c. not professionally connected with the promotion
Privacy
8. Personal information provided by you in entering the Competition will be used for the purpose of administering the Competition and for any other purposes referred to in these Terms and Conditions.
9. By entering the Competition, you will be deemed to have consented to your name being used for promotional purposes relating to the Competition by LIC including but not limited to your name being posted on LIC’s website www.lic.co.nz.
General Terms
10. By entering the Competition, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
11. The Competition and these Terms and Conditions are governed by New Zealand law.
12. The Prize cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.
13. LIC will not be liable to you or any other person for any loss or damage, however caused, arising out of you entering the Competition. To the extent that LIC cannot disclaim its liability you agree LIC’s liability will in any case be limited to the value of the Prize.
