Esther leads the scientific direction of LIC’s breeding schemes, ensuring they continue to lift genetic gain. Esther and her team reviews how the schemes are performing, designs improvements, and build new approaches where needed.
Esther and her team also run and contribute to research that turns genetic data and emerging science into practical breeding strategies for New Zealand farming systems.
