We are carrying out some important work on our back-end technology infrastructure which will affect access to key systems, including MINDA.

This work will enable us to modernise our existing technology infrastructure, improve information security and open up new opportunities for future development.

To allow this work to happen, all LIC technology systems including MINDA are offline for Easter weekend – from 6pm, Thursday 18 April until 6am, Tuesday 23 April.

We appreciate there’s no good time for an outage like this but we have done our best to avoid the busy Spring calving or mating season, in the hope it will cause the least disruption.

During the outage, these services will be impacted / not available:

  • MINDA LIVE – unavailable, including Land & Feed
  • MINDA app – this will continue to work, but updates will queue and be added once MINDA is back online
  • MINDApro – this will continue to work, but updates will be added when you synchronise after the outage
  • Protrack systems connected to MINDApro – this will continue to work but updates to MINDApro will be added when you synchronise after the outage
  • Protrack systems connected to MINDA LIVE – this will continue to work but with MINDA LIVE offline, updates will queue to be added once MINDA is back online
  • LIC webshop – unavailable, no orders can be placed

If you are herd testing between 17 April pm and 19 April pm, results will be sent to you on 23 April.

We apologise for any inconvenience this causes and hope this notification provides you with sufficient time to prepare.

Please put this MINDA outage in your diary or mobile device as a reminder and where possible, run any reports you need before the system goes offline at 6pm, Thursday 18 April.

Make use of the MINDA app during the outage as it will continue to operate offline and updates will queue and be added once systems come back online. You can download the app from the Apple App store or Google Play store

  • Use MINDA Lookup in the app for a snapshot of essential information - this will be as up to date as the last update before MINDA is taken offline
  • Access MINDApro - information will be as up to date as the latest sync

  • Use the MINDA app - updates will queue and be added once MINDA is back online
  • Use MINDApro - updates will be added when you synchronise after the outage

  • Events entered through Protrack, the MINDA app or MINDA software will not be available for rule based groups or reporting
  • If you enter information at your shed through MINDA or Protrack, it will store until its able to be added once MINDA is back online
