The outage will start at 8pm, Friday 25 June, and is scheduled to be completed by 6am, Monday 28 June.
If we don’t encounter any unexpected issues, we hope to bring our systems back online earlier.
We appreciate there’s no good time for an outage like this, however we needed to ensure we were well clear of the annual increased load on MINDA associated with Moving Day (1 June) and also ahead of the peak Spring seasonal calving period.
During the outage, these services will be impacted / not available:
- MINDA LIVE – unavailable,
- MINDA app – will continue to work, updates will queue and be added once MINDA is back online
- MINDApro – will continue to work, updates will be added when you synchronise after the outage
- Protrack systems connected to MINDApro – will continue to work, updates to MINDApro will be added when you synchronise after the outage
- Protrack systems connected to MINDA LIVE – will continue to work but with MINDA LIVE offline, updates will queue to be added once MINDA is back online
- LIC Shop – unavailable, no orders can be placed
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your patience.
Enter and approve your recent animal events in MINDA and run any MINDA reports you need for the weekend before the system goes offline at 8pm, Friday 25 June.
Download the MINDA App from the Apple App store or Google Play store – it will continue to operate offline during the outage, updates will queue and be added once systems come back online.
The MINDA App will still be available during the outage. You can view information and enter data in the App - updates will queue and be added once MINDA is back online.
Protrack customers:
- Events entered through Protrack, the MINDA app or MINDA software will not be available for rule based groups or reporting
- If you enter information at your shed through MINDA or Protrack, it will store until its able to be added once MINDA is back online
If you use LIC as your NAIT Information Provider, continue to enter animal events in the MINDA App during the outage. To ensure NAIT compliance is maintained (animal events recorded within 48 hours of the movement occurring), approve these events as soon as MINDA is back online.
OSPRI has extended NAIT reporting timeframes for people in charge of animals (PICA) that use MINDA for NAIT recording. NAIT requirements for PICA registration, animal movements, tagging and registering animals and reporting a dead or lost animal will now need to be completed by 30 June in MINDA.
We emailed customers on 15 June and will be emailing customers again the week of the outage to remind them. We will also be posting outage details on our social media channels, our website and MINDA.
