We are in a fortunate position where the majority of our services are deemed essential and can therefore continue to operate during heightened COVID-19 Alert Levels under strict safety protocols.
All staff working in essential services on-site and delivering essential services on-farm will continue operating under strict safety protocols. Although our staff are working in a different way, we will do our best to provide a business-as-usual service to you this Spring.
Our key priorities as we head into our peak operational period are keeping you safe, our staff safe and our business operating so we can continue delivering our products and services to you during this critical time on-farm.
What you can expect to see from us out in the field and on-farm:
- Masks: LIC staff continue to wear masks at all times while indoors (including on farm visits) and when 2m physical distancing cannot be maintained outside. If you’d prefer our team wear a mask on your farm at all times, please request this of our team.
- Physical distancing: Please support our staff as they work hard to deliver services to you and help them maintain 2 metre physical distancing on-farm.
- Heightened hygiene measures: Our staff are equipped to be extra vigilant with hand washing.
- QR code scanning: If you have a QR code displayed, our staff will scan in on arrival.
Our staff behind the scenes (in our labs and herd test depots) are following these protocols too and we have implemented split shifts and workplace bubbles. A growing number of our team are also fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
