Calf Club Art Competition for Rural Children

Draw your calf competition

 

Send us a drawing of your calf (lambs and kid goats are okay too) and be in to win!

Did you know that Calf Club has been around for almost 100 years?  Wow, it’s a rural New Zealand tradition!  And at LIC we’re super proud to be involved and excited to bring you the 2017 Art Competition.

Come on, take part!  Send us a drawing of your calf (lambs and kid goats are okay too).  There are some very cool prizes up for grabs, so get drawing.  

 

Before you start drawing, here’s everything you need to know:

What to draw (or paint or sculpt)

Your calf (or lamb or kid goat) that you are taking to your school’s Calf Club event. You can use whatever materials you like, and you can choose to draw, paint, collage or sculpt… the list goes on!

What you can win

The winners each age group will each receive Stallion Calf Feeder Products (pictured below) to the value of $383, animal care package (calf cover, lead, halter, brush, bucket) and some LIC goodies.

Stallion

The winners of the People's Choice competition will each receive a $100 Prezzy card & some LIC goodies.

All other entrants will receive a certificate & an LIC cap.

How to enter

How the competition is judged

All artwork will be posted to the LIC Facebook page on 12pm, Wednesday, 18 October 2017 for the People’s Choice voting to get started! The artwork that receives the most ‘likes’ on Facebook by 4pm, Tuesday, 24 October 2017 will be the People’s Choice winner!

Meanwhile… our team at LIC will be judging all the artwork to decide the winners of each age category.

All winners will be announced on this website and Facebook on Thursday 26 October 2017.
