MINDA Assist

If farmers need practical help with herd records, they can use MINDA Assist (a chargeable service). Visits are by appointment on farm.

Farmers use this service if:

  • they want your records updated before your herd tests
  • they need temporary extra resource at seasonal peaks
  • they or their staff need a little "coaching" to get the confidence to do recording tasks, or maybe new or existing staff need to be trained in the finer details of herd recording
  • they can't find the time for paperwork, or want the luxury of not doing the work themselves
  • they have difficulty keeping up-to-date with recording herd events
  • they have unresolved queries on their MINDA herd records
  • their records are way behind
  • they are allergic to pencil and paper or computers
  • they have bought in or transferred a lot of animals
  • they are setting up a new herd
  • they have better things to do with their valuable time, or something else they'd rather be doing

The MINDA Assist service is carried out by a local MINDA expert who has a thorough understanding of the MINDA herd records service from both the practical farming and the data recording points of view.

The MINDA Assist takes the farmer's notebooks, records and queries, and will do the form filling or data entry - at the same time explaining anything the farmer needs to know about keeping accurate records.

It's easy and it's hassle-free - the MINDA Assistant can take care of everything. Visits are by appointment at times that suit you.

To find out more, phone a District Manager or LIC Sales Representative (or freephone 0800 651 156 for a contact name and number).

MINDA Assist gives friendly and expert help, AND…

  • up-to-date and accurate records
  • freedom from form filling/data entry
  • precious time for something more cost effective (or pleasurable!)
PLUS the many benefits of using the MINDA Herd Records service and having good records
