Calf Club is an annual tradition for rural families and schools throughout New Zealand.
The events foster life-long values in children such as motivation, commitment, compassion and responsibility - they are a great entry-point into agriculture and for many, the stepping-stone to a career in farming.
LIC supports New Zealand's dairy industry and recognises that there are young farmers who work hard each year to select, prepare and show young animals at these events.
This website has been setup to provide these future farmers and their schools with information on how to select, rear and train a calf for Calf Club.
Schools and rural communities are also invited to register their event to receive a www.calfclub.co.nz champion ribbon.
